The patented design of the Maxa Beam Searchlight allows for numerous mounting options that allow the light to be easily removed when needed for handheld operations. Using the same method as the attachable batteries, our two main mounting plates allow the light to be snapped on and off in seconds without the use of tools.

Basic Mounting Plates:

MBA-3600:
Tripod Mount Plate:
The Tripod Mount plate is drilled and tapped 1/4’-20 to allow attachment to standard photographic tripod or pan & tilt mechanisms. This plate is also used in conjunction with several other of the mounts in our line. Made of aluminum. Tripod not included.

MBA-3605:
Fixed Mount Plate:
The Fixed Mount can be bolted down to any flat surface for mounting a Maxa Beam in a variety of locations. Made of rugged anodized aluminum.

Surveillance Application Mounts:

MBA-3610

Freestanding for portable surveillance or site lighting:

MBA-3610: Battery Light Top Positioner
This unit quickly locks into place on top of the battery module. Attach a tripod plate (not included, MBA-3600) to the 1/4”-20 stud of the positioner and then snap the searchlight in place on the tripod mount plate. Searchlight can be accurately focused to the exact position needed.

Using a camera with the Maxa Beam:

MBA-3650: Searchlight Camera Mount
This mount attaches to the handle of the
Maxa Beam and allows the mounting of a
camera or other device on top of the light
with a standard 1/4”-20 stud. The adjustable
tilt-head permits the imaging device to be
bore-sited with the searchlight’s beam.

Bar and Pole Mounts:

MBA-3620

MBA-3620: Uni-Clamp Positioning Head
This clamp allows the Maxa Beam to be mounted to bars, pipes and poles up to 2” wide. A removable wedge is used to mount flat objects (such as table tops, window sills, doors, etc...). The positioning head allows you to make pan & tilt adjustments. Requires a MBA-3600 Tripod Mount Plate
(sold separately).

MBA-3630: Right Angle Adapter for
MBA-3620
For use with the MBA-3620 Uni-Clamp Positioning Head, this adapter allows mounting to vertical objects while keeping the light horizontal.

MBA-3660 with MBA-3600

MBA-3660: Uni-Clamp Fluid Pan/Tilt Head
This clamp allows the Maxa Beam to be mounted to bars, pipes and poles up to 2” wide. A removable wedge is used to mount flat objects (such as table tops, windowsills, doors, doors, etc.). The fluid pan/tilt head allows you to make tilt adjustments and features an easy to grip handle for smooth
panning. Requires MBA-3600 Tripod Mount Plate (sold separately).

MBA-3680

MBA-3680: Horizontal Bar Mount
Originally designed for boating applications, this mount allows secure mounting to horizontal bars and objects up to 2” wide. It features two clamps for balance and includes the plate to which the Maxa Beam can quickly be attached.

Vehicle Mount:

MBA-3800

MBA-3800: Remote Control Rooftop Enclosure This enclosure mounts to any vehicle rooftop and allows easy snap-in of the Maxa Beam for complete light operation by remote from inside the vehicle. User inside the vehicle can pan from left to right 385 degrees, as well as 30 degrees up
from the horizon level. Enclosure is constructed of rugged brass and stainless steel and provides protection from sand and wind. Please note that this is a custom item with 8 - 10 week lead time. The length of control shaft is made to order for correct fit into the vehicle and the powdercoat finish in either black, white or ship grey. Please
specify when ordering.

Watertight Enclosure:

MBA-3900: Watertight Enclosure with Sun Deflector

This enclosure was designed by Peak Beam engineers to house our Maxa Beam
Searchlights in a secure, temperature controlled, waterproof environment. The
enclosure is constructed of 6061 aluminum that is coated for protection against the
elements. The front lens is easily detached to provide access to the light and all of
our attachable filters. The power cord and a remote control cable are combined
internally into one cable that exits the enclosure through a watertight fitting. The
enclosure is easily mounted to any base or structure.
