Maxa Beam rechargeable batteries have an improved weather-resistant
design featuring a Gore-TexTM valve and have cases constructed
of a high-impact copolymer. |

Mount Option is available for all
module style batteries. This option is for
use with the Vertical Mount Style Chargers.
They have additional metal clips for locking
them into place on the charger. Just add “-V” to
the end of the battery model number to add

Belt-Style
Batteries come packed in a paddded
belt that can be worn around the waist to
allow maximum freedom of movement. The searchlight
can also be
attached to belt-style batteries with a specially designed belt clip with safety
strap (included). |

The NiCad batteries have
been the standard
batttery used with the Maxa Beam for over
a decade and are the most economical option.
They weigh 5.5
/ 6 lbs. and have a run time of 90
minutes on regular power.
The NiCads have a lifetime
of more than 1,000
cycles and can be recharged in 2.5
hours with any of our Multi-Voltage Smart
Chargers or overnight with our economical
Trickle Chargers. |

| Multi-Voltage Smart Chargers for NiCad Batteries
MBP-5200 and MBP-5600 Series
Multi-
Voltage Smart Chargers are designed to charge
all three battery chemistries: Li-Ion, NiMH
and NiCad. These chargers have a fast charge
feature (see chart for recharge times), a
drop-in feature for continuous maintenance
charging (always have a fully charged battery
ready to go!), and a conditioning cycle for
maintaining battery life and condition (for
NiMHs & NiCads - this feature is not
necessary for Li-Ions). |

Economical Trickle Chargers
for NiCad Batteries:
We have two styles of Trickle Charger
available for the NiCad batteries. Both chargers
will recharge a NiCad battery within 18 hours with
an input of 120/220 VAC
(switchable). These “overnight” chargers
are an economical option where rapid charging is
not required and are well suited for applications
where the Maxa Beam is only
operated for a short period of time each day.
NOTE:
Trickle Chargers are for NiCad Batteries only.

For use in vehicles that have a 12V system, this
adapter plugs into the cigarette lighter socket
of the vehicle. Adapter’s coiled cord attaches
to the power cord of searchlight extending the
total cord length up to 5’. Contains its
own easily replaceable fuse for protection of your
vehicle’s electrical
system.

Designed for hard-wire installation in the dash
of a vehicle or boat with a 12V system, this
connector also comes with a weatherproof cap.
The Maxa Beam can then be plugged into

Drive Converter
This unit converts 18 - 36 volt
power to the required 12 volts DC needed to power
the searchlight. It can quickly be attached to
or detached from the bottom of the searchlight
(designed like the battery case). Input and output
cords are sold separately.
