Our customers have been requesting a smaller, lighter battery and now it has arrived! The new Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) battery has a lower profile than the traditional MBP-1207 NiCad pack,measuring just 2.6”x 5”x 7”. The Li-Ion weighs just 2.1 pounds – that’s more than 3 pounds lighter than the NiCad pack!

Li-Ion batteries feature a high impact copolymer weather resistant case and a fuel gauge that gives a graphic display of the charge remaining. The Li-Ion has a lifetime of more than 500 cycles and can be recharged with the MBP-5200 or MBP-5600 series chargers in approx. two hours!*
