Forces and friendly foreign militaries. Today,
Peak Beam is expanding the presence of our Maxa
Beam searchlights beyond the military and to
the private sector.
At over 7,500,000 Peak Beam CandlePower, the
Maxa Beam is the most powerful handheld, lightweight,
highintensity lighting system in the world. The
Maxa Beam can illuminate targets over 1.5 miles
away and features a full line of selective band-width
filters that turn the Maxa Beam into a powerful
IR or UV illuminator.
The Maxa Beam can be easily mounted to a vehicle
and remotely controlled from within for added
illuminationwhile driving off-road. For stationary
and fixed positions, the Maxa Beam can be mounted
and powered from any AC or DC source. We offer
power connectors that allow you to hardwire your
Maxa Beam into a 12V DC vehicle or boat power
source, enabling you to directly power the light
without the use of batteries.
For handheld use while hiking, spelunking, or
camping, you can choose from three different
battery chemistries: NiCad, NiMH, and Lithium-Ion.
The new MBP-1207L Li-Ion Battery Pack features
a run time of 130 minutes and weighs just 2 pounds.
Li-Ion Batteries can be recharged from any AC
or DC Power Source in 2 hours using our MBP-5200-M
Multi-Voltage Smart Charger.
