Edgemont, Pennsylvania – July 1, 2015 – Peak Beam Systems, Inc., manufacturer of high intensity Maxa Beam Searchlights, announced today that the company has upgraded its best-selling Maxa Beam Searchlight Deluxe Package with Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery technology.

Deluxe Package Upgrade LiFePO4

“Following its release last September, the 7.5Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery has quickly become Peak Beam’s most popular battery,” explains Annie Thorne, Peak Beam’s Director of Sales.  “Existing Maxa Beam customers are updating older systems with LiFePO4 batteries and new users are requesting handheld searchlight packages that feature LiFePO4 technology.  In response, Peak Beam is making changes to ensure that our searchlight packages reflect what customers want.”

The two LiFePO4 batteries replace the Lithium-Ion batteries that were previously included in the Deluxe Kit. LiFePO4 batteries offer several advantages over the older technology including longer run times, faster charge times, more total life cycles, and a lower cost.

The upgraded Deluxe Package joins Peak Beam’s entry-level Basic Package, streamlined Go Package, and feature-rich EOF Package as the fourth major Maxa Beam kit to offer LiFePO4 technology.
