Edgemont, Pennsylvania – May 21, 2018 – Peak Beam Systems is excited to announce the release of a new LiFePO4 Battery with Fuel Gauge for use with the Company’s Maxa Beam Handheld Searchlights.

MBP-1308-FG

The new MBP-1308-FG Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) Battery features a 5-level LED fuel gauge that displays the battery’s state of charge and state of health during operation and charging. The battery powers the Maxa Beam for 115 minutes on normal beam level and weighs just 3 pounds.

For customers seeking to upgrade an older Maxa Beam system, the new MBP-1308-FG is compatible with all previously fielded MBS-410 and MBS-450 Searchlights. The MBP-1308-FG is a significant leap in technology over legacy MBP-1207 NiCad Batteries, offering a longer run time, faster charge time, and lighter weight in addition to the new fuel gauge.

Customers purchasing new systems may upgrade any Handheld Maxa Beam Searchlight Package to substitute in the new LiFePO4 Battery with Fuel Gauge. Please contact Peak Beam for more information.
